I understand that if you look under a microscope, you'll find the difference, but just how many of you really inspect a watch at that level when you see someone with a watch?

Oris is one of my favorite watch brands. I own a BC3 advanced day-date, Diver 65 in 42 mm and the Big Crown Pointer Date with the blue dial. They are all fantastic. My next purchase is the Aquis date with the caliber 400 or the Big Crown ProPilot in 41 mm. Most likely...both! I highly recommend the brand!

Oris feiert sich hier selber, ich liebe diese Marke,bin aber auch bitter enttäuscht. Bei meiner Chronoris aus den 1970iger Jahren (in absolut adäquatem Erhaltungszustand) war die Firma nicht in der Lage einen simplen Service durchzuführen. Sie wurde mit der Begründung „fehlender Ersatzteile“ und dem Kommentar, „haben Sie noch lange Freude an der schönen Uhr“ retourniert. Mein Uhrmacher - welcher mir riet die Uhr nach Höllstein zu schicken - hat es dann erledigt. Gemäss seinem Kommentar hat er alles bekommen oder hatte es noch vorrätig.

Oris is really good product. My opinion is Oris better than Omega, Rolex base on value, performance, durability. But Rolex, Omega are have high show off brand and high investable.
